- Dr. O'Rourke's research interests are twofold: one is health policy analysis in the area of health promotion/disease prevention and the other is evaluation, including methodological evaluation of the planning and implementation of health promotion/disease prevention programs and health services. He recently was a co-author of a research article, which was the first to rank doctoral programs in health education in the United States. Dr. O'Rourke holds a concurrent appointment in the College of Medicine. He has also served as visiting professor at several other universities.
