Work and Disability Research Group

Welcome to the Work and Disability Research Group in the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health. The Work and Disability Research Group conducts research that focuses on how disability and chronic health conditions impact and interact with career development, vocational behavior, and employment. A specific area of emphasis is how cancer impacts the career development, employment and vocational behavior of individuals. To facilitate research in this area collaborative relationships have been established with some of the leading cancer centers in the United States.

If you have questions or would like to learn more about the Work and Disability Laboratory, please contact Dr. David Strauser at 217-244-3936 or strauser@illinois.edu.
