Would you recommend
the experience to somebody else?
… it opened my eyes as to how research was conducted in a
university setting, and I was always curious as to what exactly
all these professors did when they were not giving lectures. When
students enter their freshman year at the U of I, everybody always
says that before you graduate you should work with a professor conducting
research. I would totally agree with that statement, as I have learned
a great deal, and it has been a great experience to work with such
knowledgeable people.
I honestly did not know what to expect when I first started working
in the lab. However after three semesters of experience in the
lab I can say that I got more than I expected (on a good note).
I would recommend working in the lab to almost anybody interested
in a career in any health care field or kinesiology.
